Fivelements’ Launches New Integrative Wellness Talks

In autumn 2017, Fivelements, Hong Kong launched their Wellness Talks as a fresh programme dedicated to holistic wellbeing education and practical sharing for Hong Kong’s health and wellness enthusiasts. The first trio of regular monthly events to come were focused on plant-powered nutrition with exciting culinary demos shared by Fivelements’ Executive Chef Arnaud.

Wellness is a synonym of well-being which is hardly achievable without right sources of physical and mental energy. International holistic coach and nutrition expert, Teressa Siu, led the first three wellness talks on food matters in Fivelements’ urban retreat in Sai Kung.

During these talks, Teressa shared her professional outlook on holistic nutrition, integrative food therapy, general health and happiness. “Nutrition, from all disciplines, is a vital part of our being and it’s the doorway to the other aspects of life that deserve the same amount of nourishment as our gastronomic needs” – says Teressa. As a speaker, she communicated not only theoretical but also practical ideas – with Fivelements’ Executive Chef also sharing culinary demonstrations.

Teressa covered nutrition aspects in these talks in three dimensions respectively: healthy eating from childhood as a foundation for healthy development, plant-based nutrition as a source of life energy and right food for boosting brain functions.

At the recent talk “Brain Power Foods,” Teressa spread her expert knowledge on brain nutrition. “The brain eats too!” says the entry of the talk, revealing its key message – the necessity of consuming the right food that is the fuel for optimal brain’s productivity. Fivelements family proudly shares the philosophy of healthy eating for happier living.
